How to Create a Custom Feed

From the Feeds page, click Create a new feed

Select **Create Custom Feed **

Give your Feed a name so you can differentiate it from other feeds on the same channel. If your channel follows a common format, choose the best option from the platforms listed. Otherwise, click on No Template and type in the Custom Channel Name. Then, Click Next

Choose the Feed Format required by the channel. If you have an alternate link or would like to exclude BOM from your file, this can be done here. Otherwise, click Next

Depending on the file format chosen, you might receive the following message. Simply click Got it

Edit your feed contents to include the data you need. You can do this by including the values from your catalog, static values, or complex rules. If you need to add more parameters, you can do that by clicking +Add parameter in the bottom left corner. When y

How to Map Products

|| Shopify store owners do not need to use this feature as all attributes are automatically mapped at installation

Navigate to the Tools section from the left side panel

In the Product Mapping category, click Edit

Navigate to the Your Store Attribute column on the right. Click the drop down to pick the attribute you want to match

|| For example, if you refer to "size" as something different, you can map that term to "size" in FeedGeni so that the product feed is populated correctly

When you have finished mapping, click Save in the bottom right hand corner. You will receive a green success indicator in the top right corner

Can I Have a Custom Feed on the Basic Plan?

The Basic Plan only allows for the creation of Basic Feeds. Custom Feeds can be created on the Economy, Pro, and Enterprise plans.

Can I Create Multiple Feeds for the Same Channel?

Accepted Answer

You can create multiple feeds to the same channel by using Custom Feeds, which is available on the Pro and the Enterprise plans.

Basic Feeds only support 1 feed per channel.

How to Reset Your Products

From the Feeds Page, click on Settings on the left side panel

Click on the Product Settings tab at the top

In the Force Product Reset section, click Reset

Go back to the Feeds Page by clicking on Feeds on the left side panel

Click Update all feeds

After clicking the Update all feeds button, you will be given a message that updating all feeds will apply your set rules to already created feeds. Click Update if you would like to apply the changes

A green Success indicator will appear in the top right of your screen to inform you that the Feed Update is in progress

Select the channel you will use for your feed. Then, click Next

As an optional step, you can add product filters to alter which products are included in this specific feed. To do this, click on +Add filter and then select your options. When you’re finished adding your filters or if you’re choosing not to add filters, click Next
