How to make your products show in stock or have positive quantities with Custom feed

On the Create Feed page, click on "Create Custom Feed" and give a name to your product feed. If you're editing an existing feed, skip to Step 4 below.

Choose the required feed file requested by your channel. Then select your preferred separator.

Select the channel you want to create the feed for. If you can't find it in the list then select "Others" and give your custom channel name. In this example, I will be using the name "Pinterest Custom Feed", you can input a custom channel name of your choice.

Understand the mapping of the platform you are trying to create the feed (example Pinterest, Facebook..., etc) and map the fields accordingly. Select the MC header and begin mapping. (In this example, I'm using the header mapping requirements of Pinterest.)

You can add more parameters at your discretion.

To customize your feed to show Positive Quantities, add a parameter and type quantity in the channel header, select Custom header, and type in a positive number of your choice (I used 100).

To show in stock, add a parameter and type availability in the channel header, select Custom header, and type In stock.

NB: If you are editing an already created feed, you only have to click on MC header and select Custom header instead, and type 100 (or any positive number) and In stock to map quantity and availability respectively. Always remember to save your mapping details by clicking on Save Feed Mapping Details.

Proceed to the categorization of your products. Categorization helps the platform showcase your products under the right class or type they belong to. This is an optional step and not every platform requires this.

Once you are done with product categorization, the next step is also an optional step for filtering which of your products should be included in the feed file. For example, you might want to only include your best sellers in the feed, or only products that are in stock. To do that, click on the ‘select attribute’ dropdown.

Select ‘quantity’, then change the operator to ‘greater than’ then type in 0. Here, you’re telling the app to remove all products that are out of stock and to include only products that are in stock.

Proceed to hit the ‘Create’ or "Update (if you're editing an existing feed)" button to create your feed.
